Kosher Food Online, Kosher Meat, Meat Delivered and more…
I’m in the mood for kosher meat tonight. I want a steak or a hamburger, or meatballs or anything meaty to satisfy my craving. There is something so innately manly about eating kosher meat. What is it?
First, it has to do with killing an animal. If you find dead animals, you don’t eat them because they’ve probably been rotting in the sun. You have to go into the fields and forests and kill yourself a cow. Then you have to skin it and quarter it and prepare the meat for the grill. This – no offense, ladies – is not a job for the fairer sex.
Cooking kosher meat also takes a certain level of skill and strength. Usually you cook meat over an open fire. Then you have to chew the meat. You cannot give kosher meat to a baby. It requires sharp hard teeth to chew and grind kosher meat into digestible grub.
All of the protein you get from your kosher butcher makes you more satiated than if you were to eat potatoes or carbs. So kosher meat is manly because it appeals to our ancestral roots of hunting, killing and carving – things left for the men of a nomadic village.
But to be healthy in modern society, don’t forget a vegetable to go with your meal!
