Kosher Food Online, Kosher Meat, Meat Delivered and more…
Well well well…. it looks like MIT finally found a kosher butcher.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology, one of the most exclusive and prestigious educational institutes in the United States, has recently announced on their official website that they will finally offer kosher dinner in all of their on-campus dining halls for the first time.
Perhaps no one is more excited about the opportunity to eat kosher meat on-campus than current executive director of the MIT Hillel, Rabbi Michelle Fisher.
“I am so excited,” Fisher said. “There are big changes coming, all for the better.”
In fact, Fisher also admitted that her connection to MIT might have occurred years earlier, had MIT been privy to a kosher butcher earlier. According to the MIT News section of their official website, Fisher “decided to attend Princeton University over MIT. The decisive factor was not academics or location — it was food.
“I knew there was a full kosher meal plan at Princeton, and that was going to be something important to me,” says Fisher.
The good news? MIT and Fisher ended up pairing together in the future, as the Rabbi is the current executive director of the schools Hillel program. The even better news? Thanks to the addition of a kosher dietary plan on campus, the Michelle Fisher’s of the world will now end up at MIT.
